The best places to travel based on your travel personality

Stuck deciding where to go in 2019? Well, look no further Wanderers; I’ve got the perfect holiday inspo tailored to your travel personality!

Everybody has a travel personality, whether that be an adventurous or a romantic one. If you have travelled too little or too much to be confined to a definite travel personality, I would argue that you would identify as a first-time traveller and a seasoned traveller, respectively.

That is not to say you can’t embody two travel personalities (because you can); it is more so determining your dominant travel personality.

For example, I am an Intellectual Traveller – I love absorbing the history of a destination and I love to learn as I travel. Plus, museums are always at the top of my list!

First-time Traveller

As a First-time Traveller, you do not really have a dominant travel personality, mostly because you haven’t travelled enough! But that is easily fixable – just grab a Seasoned Traveller and hit the road!

The best places to travel for a travel newcomer include Paris, Canada and Germany.

 

Seasoned Traveller

There are not many places I can recommend to you, Seasoned Traveller; you have pretty much travelled everywhere! Even as a globetrotter, get lost every once in a while – after all, the journey can be just as rewarding as the destination!

Thailand, Africa and India are always on the top of every Seasoned Traveller’s list, so why not list it at the top of yours?

 

Romantic Traveller

A Romantic Traveller loves, well…anything romantic! From sunsets to beaches, these are must haves for every romanticist. And what’s a journey without someone to share it with? Romantic Travellers love sharing their experiences with a travelling companion.

No surprise here that Paris tops the list of places Romantic Travellers want to travel to, but you may also find them in Santorini, Fiji or Venice.

 

Adventurous Traveller

Adventurous Travellers love going to places they’ve never been before, in the most alternative transportation methods. Adventurous Travellers love the flow of adrenaline in their veins…you can probably find the daredevils outside, doing something risky!

New Zealand is one of the most outdoorsy, adventurous places for a daredevil to travel to, but Costa Rica and the Amazon also make the bucket list.

 

Intellectual Traveller

The Intellectual traveller loves anything historic, from museums to architecture and everything in between. You have an inquisitive personality, and are always asking the question why?

The best places for an Intellectual to travel are places rich with history, like Egypt, Jerusalem, China and Europe.

 

Having a holiday tailored to your personalities and hobbies in life can make for some seriously memorable moments. Plus, they make the journey and holiday more enjoyable if you are doing what you love!
